This role doesn't come around often, along with ongoing support from the NUM and CNE the EN will work alongside the very skilled team of Registered nurses and Enrolled nurses to provide high quality care for our patients. Working to a standard that supports the CORE values of NSW Health. 

 

Are You the Right Fit? 
You may be the ideal candidate if you: 

  • Thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team 
  • Have demonstrated experience working as an Enrolled Nurse 
  • Can safely and independently manage responsibilities within your scope of practice, including medication management.
  • Are available to work a rotating roster, including afternoons, weekends and public holidays 
  • Have community nursing experience (preferred, but not essential) 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
  • Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
  • Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
