What you’ll be doing

As an Enrolled Nurse in the casual pool, you will provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You’ll support patients and families, deliver high-quality care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team.

• Provide direct nursing care within a plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Recognise and report changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns appropriately
• Support patients with daily living activities to promote independence and comfort
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure safe and effective care
• Communicate sensitively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to support continuity of care

Essential Requirements

• Registration:  Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position.
2. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
3. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team.
4. An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
