As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred, and trauma-informed care. You will play an integral role in supporting consumers throughout their recovery journey by contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, prioritisation, and evaluation of nursing care.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
  2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in nursing as an Enrolled Nurse including completion of a new graduate Enrolled Nurse program or equivalent experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in mental health.
  3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, trauma-informed, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
  4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
  5. Demonstrated effective communication, including non-verbal, written and verbal skills.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to own professional development through workplace learning and reflective practice and the ability to contribute to the development of others, including new graduate nurses and students.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
