About the role and you
Every day brings new opportunities to make a difference in Community Nursing. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes and community clinics, supporting people to maintain their health, independence and wellbeing.
You are a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who enjoys the variety of community-based care and is confident working both independently and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while making a meaningful impact through the delivery of safe, evidence-based care.
Your role will include:
- Delivering compassionate nursing care through home visits and community clinic appointments.
- Providing wound assessment and management, including compression therapy.
- Supporting clients with urinary catheter care and continence management.
- Providing palliative care support to clients and their families with compassion and dignity.
- Identifying client needs, coordinating referrals and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Building strong therapeutic relationships that promote trust, independence and positive health outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Hold an unrestricted NSW driver's licence and be willing to travel as required for work purposes.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in wound management, continence care and medication administration.
- Sound clinical judgement and the ability to prioritise and respond to changing client needs within your scope of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centred care and teamwork.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and the NSW Health CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
