About the Role
Cessnock District Hospital is seeking compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurses to join our surgical and medical units. This 38-bed facility delivers diverse acute and subacute services including a busy 24/7 Emergency Department, general medicine, surgical specialties, rehabilitation and onsite diagnostics - all within a cohesive multidisciplinary environment committed to high-quality, person-centred care. The hospital is undergoing a major $138 million redevelopment with expanded ED, modern inpatient wards and upgraded facilities, creating an exciting time to contribute to growing services in a supportive, forward-thinking workplace.
Successful candidates will be supported by the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), with additional after-hours assistance from a CNE. The hospital is committed to fostering professional growth, offering ongoing training opportunities and support for further studies, ensuring staff have the resources to excel in their roles and advance their careers.

- Current Authority to Practice with AHPRA (Medication Endorsed where applicable)
- Strong time management and organisational skills
