As an Engineer – DevOps for our Clinical Applications Servies team, you will be responsible for delivering systems architecture, and ensuring the successfully build, operation and running of products or platforms in alignment to relevant roadmaps.
The Clinical Application Services Team delivers mission critical systems which clinicians across NSW Health rely on to provide 24 x 7 critical care. Reporting into the Group Manager, CAS Platform and Hosting the key aspect of the role will be to contribute to a team supporting the core technology infrastructure in the Citrix stack for our Clinical Applications across the NSW Health system, enabling clinicians to provide effective patient care.
In this role, you will:
- Provide input and contribute toward provisioning, support, configuration and packaging across Citrix delivered applications and desktops.
- Support project implementations and change management practices for new enhancements and system updates across Citrix delivered applications and desktops.
- Provide support and expertise in relation to complex incident management, change request/fulfilment, health check/maintenance, escalations, monitoring, and resiliency testing.
- Perform operational and improvement activities to provide assurance surrounding system security, resiliency, stability and availability through reporting and automation, identifying and escalating risks where necessary to support decision making.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a constructive workplace culture and building streamlined ways of working for the capability across eHealth NSW.

About You
To be successful in this role you’ll need
- Demonstrated experience in designing, building and operating enterprise applications on public cloud platforms and in a shared services environment. Advance experience with Citrix Delivered Application, software load balancing and knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, Active Directory, Domain Name Services.
- Experience with modern ICT Delivery and Operational practices (DevOps), including associated operating methodologies (such as Agile).
- A self-driven attitude toward learning new skills and adopting upcoming technologies as requirements evolve.
