The Role
The role of the Drug & Alcohol Senior Clinician, is to provide specialist drug and alcohol evidence-based interventions to patients in a custodial setting, based on the patients strengths, needs and goals.
The duties will include care planning; targeted individual and group interventions; and multidisciplinary liaison with relevant teams. The service is to be least restrictive, trauma informed, person-centred, collaborative, rehabilitative and strengths-based.
This role will develop programs and interventions by providing specialist expertise and consultation. Leading practice change and participating in workforce and service development initiatives and participate in service planning and policy development for Drug and Alcohol
