The Role

We’re currently looking for a Drug & Alcohol Clinician to provide evidence-based therapeutic drug and alcohol interventions to patients in a custodial setting through the planning and delivery of CBT based group programs and through supporting the delivery of best practice brief interventions within a clinical setting. The Drug & Alcohol clinician will employ professional judgment to solve routine problems and guide the implementation of Drug & Alcohol therapeutic programs at in correctional centre, more complex and critical tasks will escalated to more senior staff member.
 
The position will assist in the development of relevant procedures and standards and for the Drug & Alcohol therapeutic programs and participate in quality improvement activities.
