Make a meaningful impact across Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals as a part time Diversional Therapist (Level 3), leading the delivery of high‑quality Diversional Therapy services in a fast‑paced acute environment. As part of the Occupational Therapy Department, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with complex behaviours through tailored therapeutic programs that promote recovery, independence and improved quality of life.
- Lead and coordinate Diversional Therapy services within the hospital.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
- Play a key role in managing complex behaviours in acute care settings.
- Deliver safe, timely and individualised interventions for patients with dementia, delirium and complex disabilities.
- Develop and deliver therapeutic programs that support wellbeing, behaviour management and functional independence.

- Advanced Diversional Therapy skills with the ability to deliver evidence‑based, individualised programs

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Recognised Degree in Diversional Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, which provides eligibility for membership with the Diversional Therapy Association of Australia National Council.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of evidence-based practice Diversional Therapy programs/ activities in Aged Care and Chronic and Complex.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
