About the Opportunity

As the Director of Finance for the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the frameworks and processes for strategic business decision making and financial management. The Director of Finance is expected to provide expert financial management advice, reporting and accounting services to comply with NSW Health, NSW Treasury and generally accepted accounting standards. the development of comprehensive reporting and analytical capability to support effective financial and business decision-making. 


 

In this role, you will:

  • Direct strategic and operational financial reporting and analysis to support effective budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.

  • Lead the development and oversight of capital and operating budgets, financial modelling, and forward estimates to support organisational priorities.

  • Provide high-level financial advice to executive leadership, enabling informed decisions on budgets, capital programs, and funding strategies.

  • Implement robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices to ensure compliance and long-term financial sustainability.



 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in accountancy, economics, commerce, finance or a related discipline and membership of a recognised Australian accounting body.

  • Extensive experience in a Finance, Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or similar function, including relevant tertiary and CA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent accounting qualifications.

  • Ability to partner with the Senior/Executive Management and customer business units to provide insightful advice on financial matters and performance within industry
