About the Role

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

 

The Haematology Clinical Research Unit (HCRU) Deputy Manager will be the quality systems supervisor within the HCRU to ensure the safe and quality conduct of research activity undertaken by and within the Haematology Clinical Research Unit (HCRU) as part of local, state-wide, national, and multinational programs of research.

 

The Deputy Manager will form part of a three-member leadership team consisting of the HCRU Manager (HSM4), Deputy Manager (HSM3) and CNC.

Ideal Candidate

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in the Health Service environment or other related system as deemed appropriate.
  • Extensive experience in managing clinical research studies with strong analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge of professional standards including understanding of and adherence to compliance requirements, clinical trial regulations, legislation, and ICH-Good Clinical Practice.
