As the Deputy Director of Nursing & Operations Manager – Aged Care and Rehabilitation, you will provide clinical, operational and professional leadership to the Aged Care & Rehabilitation Services at Wollongong Hospital, facilitating effective, efficient and safe operational management of the services. This will be achieved by working in partnership with the Medical & Nursing Co-Director Aged Care & Rehabilitation, to lead the delivery of clinical services for Aged Care & Rehabilitation Services within the Illawarra Hospital Group

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation (APHRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Health Management or equivalent and/or substantial recent experience at a senior management level

·         NSW Drivers Licence

·         Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
