Dalwood Spilstead Service

What you'll be doing
The role of the Dalwood Spilstead Psychologist is to provide trauma-informed psychology services to vulnerable families and children at risk participating in the Dalwood Spilstead Family Intervention and Support program including individual counselling for youth and school aged children, school liaison, play therapy interventions as well as after school groupwork.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. A minimum 3 year degree with a 4th year honours in psychology; or an equivalent qualification, full general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  2. Previous experience working with children and young people at risk from a trauma-informed approach.
  3. Experience working with primary schools and high schools.
