Customer Service Liaison Officer (Administrative Officer Level 6)

Remuneration: $39.14 - $40.07 per hour + annual leave loading + 11.5% Superannuation

The position provides patients and staff with support in regards to patient election choices, maximise patient fee revenue, and ensures admitted patient financial records are complete and compliant with the National Healthcare Agreement, NSW Health and LHD policies and procedures.

- Has relevant experience in a revenue, finance or similar position in a hospital setting, with demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets.
- Has excellent communication and customer service experience including a high level advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal sensitively and professionally with patients, their families, other staff and stakeholders involved in the financial case management process.
- Has excellent experience with computer systems including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems including Patient Administration System (Cerner), Power Billing Revenue Collection (PBRC), and other revenue/patient information systems.
- Has the ability to work a 7 day rotating shift across the hours of operation, including public holidays.
