Join our Community Nursing Team and provide compassionate, person-centred care across the health facility and in patients’ homes. You’ll work as part of a supportive team while building strong relationships with patients and helping them receive the care they need, closer to home.

About the Opportunity
As a Community Registered Nurse, you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care across the health facility and within patients’ homes. You’ll play an important role in supporting the health, wellbeing and independence of people across the Glen Innes community.

You’ll be involved in:

  • 🩹 Wound care – assessment and management
  • 🩺 Catheter care – changes and ongoing support
  • 💙 Palliative care – providing compassionate, supportive care
  • 💊 Medication management – safe administration and monitoring
  • 🏡 Community nursing – providing care in the health facility and through home visits

You’ll be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager and have access to wound specialist services, ongoing education and professional development to help you grow your skills and confidence.

About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and organised Registered Nurse who is confident working independently and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care in a community setting.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Qualifications or extensive experience in wound management – essential
  • Previous community nursing experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills
  • A person-centred approach to care
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
