Where you'll be working
The successful applicant will be located at Forster Community Health Centre and outreach to Taree Community Health Centre, working within the Generalist Care multi-disciplinary team, including Palliative Care Nursing, Cardiac & Respiratory Rehabilitation, Continence, Dietetics, Diabetes, Wound Management, Immunisation and Audiometry. The Dietitian on occasion may also provide support to Taree Community Health Centre.

The Opportunity 

The successful applicant will use their clinical dietetic experience and understanding of nutrition management to provide a comprehensive Dietetics service across a broad range of ages in an outpatient setting. The successful applicant will be supported by senior Dietitians within the Generalist Care team. Support will also be provided by management to attend education and training opportunities that will build their clinical skills and knowledge for the provision and support of Dietetics services to patients and carers/families.

Requirements

1.  Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
