What you'll be doing
 The Rural, Regional and Remote Clinical Trial Enabling Program (RRR-CTEP) aims to improve equity of access to clinical trials for patients living in rural, regional and remote communities. The RRR-CTEP Clinical Trials Pharmacist will be responsible for the provision and coordination of pharmacy services that align to, and support the delivery of, the objectives of the RRR-CTEP program in Southern NSW LHD.
 

Selection Criteria

  1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a pharmacist with no restrictions.
  2. Demonstrated high level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist, including advanced level knowledge of therapeutics (e.g. cardiology, renal, oncology), relevant legislation and ability to apply these skills in practice.
  3. Ability to effectively plan, manage and lead a clinical trial pharmacy service within a multi-disciplinary team that reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the state and National policies, procedures and governance framework for clinical trials, is certified in Good Clinical Practice or willingness to obtain.
  5. High level written and oral communication skills required to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to pharmacy research related to clinical trials.
  7. Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
