- We are looking for a dynamic clinical trials coordinator to join the Kidney Trials unit to expand clinical research activity and capacity in the department.
- The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of clinical trial operations and conduct.

What you'll be doing
The Renal Clinical Trials Unit is a service within the Department of Renal Medicine. Its mission is to provide a cohesive, quality-controlled approach to investigator-based and externally-funded clinical research. The unit is involved in numerous clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies encompassing all areas of Renal Medicine from chronic kidney disease, to dialysis and transplantation.
The Renal Clinical Trials Unit comprises of a Clinical Trials Manager and Clinical Trial Coordinators, a Director of the Kidney Trials Unit and Study Investigators - all integral members of the Department of Renal Medicine.
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical research including recruitment of patients into studies, assisting in the overall care of clinical trial patients and participating in research activities within the department.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience. Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and other professional colleagues.
- Outline your experience in the coordination and conduct of clinical trials.
- Describe your experience in a healthcare or research team, with particular focus on clinical trials.
Explain how you have previously managed multiple complex clinical trials with multiple stakeholders and competing demands.
