What you'll be doing
In this key support role, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary research team to ensure the smooth, accurate and compliant delivery of clinical trials. Your attention to detail, communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities will be essential to support successful study outcomes.
Assist with Human Research Ethics and Governance submissions
Manage accurate data entry and clinical trial documentation
Perform basic patient assessments (e.g. blood pressure, measurements)
Support participant recruitment and follow-up activities
Process biological samples and manage trial inventories

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Certificate IV in Pathology or Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations.
Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualification in a health or science discipline and work experience.
Proven proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as database applications.
Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to be able to engage a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to a fast pace environment and be flexible with work hours.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Prior experience or knowledge of audit and quality assurance activities and / or monitoring in the context of clinical trials.
Well-developed organisation skills to ensure to ensure smooth patient workflows.
