Are you an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a passion for providing care to Mental Health consumers? Take up this fantastic temporary opportunity to join our supportive, energetic and creative Community team.
The clinical psychologist role is to provide evidence based assessment, information, education and treatment, as indicated by clinical need to clients of the The Sutherland Hospital Community Mental Health Service. A stepped care approach is recommended working with the consumer to achieve their treatment goals, with their progress being assessed on an ongoing basis, and goals reviewed.

Selection criteria:
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychology (or working towards endorsement) or some other recognised clinical area in Psychology, along with a minimum two-year full-time equivalent APAC-accredited Master or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated effective experience in assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes, working with people with mental health issues.
- Demonstrated experience in working with people with mood and personality disorders.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct psychometric assessments and generate comprehensive reports.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to a consumer focused recovery-oriented approach and consumer collaboration in care planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current, unrestricted class C NSW drivers licence.
