We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Integrated Palliative Care for Advanced Diseases (IPAD) program
About the Role
This role focuses on providing ambulatory care for patients with end-stage cardiac, respiratory, and liver diseases, delivering compassionate and comprehensive care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
As part of our IPAD Program, you will work within combined health care professionals /MDT clinics as well as within the community setting, supporting patients through their palliative care journey. While the role will begin with a focus on these specialisations, we aim to expand the scope of services across other chronic diseases over time.
This is a district-based role, primarily based at the Concord Hospital, with the opportunity for further involvement across the district as the program grows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological support to patients with advanced chronic diseases with end of life and palliative care needs.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure holistic care for patients in the IPAD program.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals, medical teams, and families to optimise care outcomes.

Registration with AHPRA and must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA.

Experience in palliative care or working with patients with chronic, life-limiting illnesses is critical to the role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary setting.
