About The Opportunity
Are you a compassionate and credentialed Diabetes Educator ready to make a meaningful impact in paediatric care? Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a personable and skilled Diabetes Nurse Educator to join our forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team within the Paediatric Diabetes Service.

In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with children, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver expert diabetes education and support. Your experience with insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring systems will be highly valued as you help shape personalised care plans and empower young patients to thrive. You will also could gain leadership experience by providing mentorship and supervision to colleagues and other nursing staff.

This is a part time position, working 2 days per week.

How to Apply

  1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and 3 years relevant full time equivalent post registration experience and approved post graduate nursing/midwifery qualifications (Credentialed Diabetes Educator) in Paediatric Diabetes , or such other qualification, or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
  2. How would you approach providing direct patient care and self-management education in an outpatient health setting, while also supporting inpatient care when needed?
  3. How do you stay current with evolving diabetes care guidelines and translate that into practice?
  4. Can you describe how you effectively communicate and engage with people living with diabetes, their carers, and the broader multidisciplinary healthcare team to identify individual care needs and ensure timely, responsive support?
