Where you’ll be working
Set against the rolling hills of the Liverpool Plains, Quirindi Hospital is a welcoming, community-focused facility just under an hour from Tamworth. Our hospital includes a 24/7 Emergency Department, a 20-bed medical and surgical ward, alongside access to a broad range of allied health services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology.
Living in Quirindi means enjoying the charm of a rural lifestyle with the convenience of easy travel – less than five hours from Sydney by road or rail, and a short drive from Tamworth Airport. It’s a chance to combine a rewarding career with the lifestyle benefits of one of Australia’s richest agricultural regions.
About the role
As our Nurse Educator, you’ll lead, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs that drive excellence across our nursing team. From coordinating orientation and professional development programs to mentoring staff and students, you’ll foster a culture where learning and clinical best practice go hand in hand.
This role is about more than education, it’s about inspiring and empowering your colleagues. You’ll work closely with nursing leadership, CNEs and CNCs, collaborating to ensure our team has the skills and confidence to deliver safe, culturally appropriate, and patient-centred care to our community.
About the team and culture
At Quirindi, you’re not just joining a workplace – you’re becoming part of a close-knit, supportive team. Our nurses, educators, and health professionals work side by side in a culture built on collaboration, respect, and shared learning. We look out for one another, celebrate achievements, and many of us enjoy connecting outside of work – whether it’s over a coffee in town, at local events, or making the most of the beautiful surrounds.
When you join us, you’ll be warmly welcomed with an initial orientation and supported by your CNEs across the hospital. You’ll always have colleagues to bounce ideas off and collaborate with, so you’ll never feel like you’re doing it alone.
