This is an exciting professional development opportunity for suitably qualified nurses to join the Minderoo Comprehensive cancer centre. This CNC position form part of a team that case manages children with liquid tumours across the state.
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant (CNC/CMC) will provide expert clinical care and education to children and their families within a defined specialty.
The role provides a consultancy and educational focus for ward based nurses in the care of children and their families.
In collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, the CNC/CMC will undertake primary responsibility for on-going education, development and evaluation of clinical practice. We’re looking for someone who:

We’re looking for someone who:
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a minimum of 5 years full time post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
Relevant approved post registration qualification in field of practice at Master’s level or working towards or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
Proven clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice
