Are you an experienced Clinical Nurse ready to provide specialist leadership and clinical expertise within Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services?

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialist clinical leadership and support across AOD services
• Deliver recovery-focused, person-centred care for clients with complex needs
• Mentor and empower teams through education and clinical guidance
• Lead quality improvement and innovative service initiatives
• Build partnerships to enhance care outcomes and pathways
• Support complex clinical decision-making and consultation

About You:

You are an experienced and approachable nursing leader with a passion for Alcohol and Other Drug clinical care and a commitment to improving outcomes for individuals and communities.

You demonstrate specialist AOD clinical expertise with a commitment to best-practice care, strong leadership skills to inspire and support teams, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a passion for person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused care. You are confident working autonomously within a multidisciplinary environment and uphold professional integrity through safe, ethical, and accountable practice.

Essential Criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with Authority to Practice
• Minimum five years’ post-registration experience with relevant AOD qualifications or equivalent clinical experience
• Current NSW driver eligibility and willingness to travel for work purposes

In this role, you will be supported by your line manager, District Clinical Nurse Consultant, Senior Nurse Manager, District Manager, colleagues, and administrative staff.
You will participate in a structured orientation program upon commencement and have access to ongoing education, professional development opportunities, and clinical support to enhance your leadership capability and success within the role.
