In this vital position, you will:
- Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate clinical midwifery education programs at the ward/unit level.
- Ensure new, experienced and casual midwives receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with the Midwifery Unit Manager and the wider hospital team to design tailored educational initiatives.
- Provide hands-on clinical supervision, prioritising quality and safety in patient care.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

During the application process, applicants have the opportunity to nominate their preferred ward/unit. Interviews will be held on Thursday 14 November 2024 and Friday 15 November 2024.

· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1)
· Relevant post registration qualification (refer to position description)
