In this vital position, you will:

  • Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate clinical midwifery education programs at the ward/unit level.
  • Ensure new, experienced and casual midwives receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with the Midwifery Unit Manager and the wider hospital team to design tailored educational initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on clinical supervision, prioritising quality and safety in patient care.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

·         Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1)
