About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The primary purpose of the role is to analyse, develop and maintain data and to provide reports for the Patient Safety and Quality Unit (PSQU) and Hospital Executive. To assist the PSQU with complaints management and administrative tasks.
This senior position is expected to have the necessary degree of knowledge, expertise and experience to support the PSQU by providing the relevant data and reports to assist in driving improvement to Patient Safety and Quality Improvement systems across the facility and services.

Ideal Candidate
- Has relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or extensive professional experience in a health-related area.
- Sound knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and quality improvement methods.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and programs including but not limited to IMS+ and eMR.
