Where you'll be working

Mona Vale - Environmental Services - Cleaning department

What you'll be doing
As part of the Envrionmental Services team, this position provides a cleaning service to the facility according to a predetermined service plan. The cleaner is responsible for maintaining all surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture within their allocated area in accordance with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy PD2023_018. 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

 

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Previous experience as a cleaner in a healthcare facility or in a commercial/industrial setting, or demonstrated ability to perform in role
  2. Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Knowledge of work health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control
