HealthOne Quirindi provides an integrated primary and community health service, incorporating General Practice, Community Health and visiting services. These services work in partnership to provide client-centre, comprehensive and coordinated care to the local community, encompassing the Liverpool Plains. The key objectives of the HealthOne NSW model include health risk identification, illness prevention, early intervention, chronic / complex disease management and multidisciplinary planned care. Our collaborative approach ensures high-quality, coordinated care for the Liverpool Plains community.

About the role:
As a Registered Child and Family Health Nurse, you will deliver safe, culturally responsive and person-centred care to families with children aged 0–5 years. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Universal Health Home Visits within two weeks of birth
- Delivering care in alignment with key government strategies and professional standards
- Supporting infant feeding, sleep, behaviour, development, and parenting
- Advocating for families and ensuring they can make informed decisions
- Making timely referrals to internal and external services
- Supervising students and mentoring staff as needed
- Collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to support improved health outcomes
- Practising within professional, ethical and culturally respectful boundaries
About you:
You are a compassionate and culturally sensitive clinician who is:
- Committed to providing family-centred and culturally respectful care
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Skilled in time management and managing competing priorities
- Passionate about supporting families during the early years of a child’s development
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with AHPRA
• Postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health
• Current NSW driver’s licence and ability to travel for home visits
• Authorised Nurse Immuniser or willingness to complete
