- Chief Cardiac Technologist: $60.10 - $66.48 per hour
- Radiographer Level 4 Grade 2: $72.62 - $74.41 per hour

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Vascular Sonographer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal leadership position is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular sonographic services. The role plays a crucial part in supporting accurate diagnosis and optimal patient management.
In addition to performing vascular ultrasound examinations, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the vascular laboratory service, including:
- Staff rostering and supervision
- Staff training and mentoring
- Equipment procurement and maintenance
- Liaison with hospital management to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals
This role requires a professional who is both clinically proficient and an empowering leader with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and team performance.
Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science, Science, Applied Science, or another relevant health qualification
- Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound with extensive hands-on experience in vascular examinations
- Current ASAR accreditation (Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry)
Important Note on Classification
To be appointed and paid as a Medical Radiation Scientist, you must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Applicants who do not hold AHPRA registration will be appointed and remunerated at the Cardiac Technologist classification level.
