Chief Pharmacy Information Officer

1. Recent and extensive senior management experience in a Pharmacy setting.
2. Extensive experience in a complex health setting utilising digital informatics related to medication management systems, including knowledge of how to enhance patient safety and improve usability.
3. Recent and extensive experience in a public hospital leadership and management role requiring skills in balancing clinical and regulatory goals and outcomes and collaborating with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
4. A proactive approach in presenting new practices and new technology or expanding existing clinical systems to drive improvements in clinical quality, cost-effectiveness, and patient/staff satisfaction.
5. Demonstrated experience motivating and leading staff to achieve organisational outcomes including developing others and serving as a mentor and role model.
6. Demonstrated participation and contribution to committees or groups that influence medication management practice or quality use of medicines issues (this may include state or national committees)
