An exciting executive nursing and midwifery leadership opportunity is available with Mid North Coast Local Health District.
As the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Information Officer (CNMIO), you will provide district-wide leadership to support the safe, effective and innovative use of digital health systems across our diverse health services. Working at the intersection of clinical practice and technology, you will help shape the future of healthcare delivery, ensuring digital solutions enhance patient safety, support clinicians and improve health outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with nursing, midwifery, medical, allied health and digital health leaders while contributing to major NSW Health initiatives, including the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR).
About the role
You will:
- Provide strategic nursing and midwifery leadership across digital health initiatives.
- Influence the design, validation and optimisation of clinical workflows.
- Champion patient safety, clinical quality and innovation through technology-enabled care.
- Support digital literacy, capability uplift and change management across the District.
Represent Mid North Coast LHD in statewide digital health and nursing forums.
We are looking for a leader who:
✔ Is a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife
✔ Has experience leading in complex healthcare environments
✔ Understands digital health, clinical informatics and transformational change
✔ Builds strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
✔ Is passionate about improving healthcare through innovation and collaboration
