Where you'll be working

The Sutherland Hospital and Community Health Service is located in the Sutherland Shire ('the Shire'), approximately half an hour drive south of Sydney, in the suburb of Caringbah. The Sutherland Hospital was established in 1958 and is a major metropolitan hospital and teaching hospital. The hospital motto, from its inception, is "Endeavour to Serve".

We offer a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services to the residents of the Sutherland Shire. We have 375 beds and each year we care for more than 50,000 patients in our Emergency Department and around 28,000 patients are admitted to our hospital.
 
The role

We’re looking for an experienced Change Manager to join the Strategy, Innovation and Improvement (SI&I) team at SESLHD to:

  • Lead and support district-wide strategic and operational transformation initiatives
  • Apply expert change management methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Quality Improvement)
  • Drive adoption of change, process improvement, and benefits realisation
  • Provide specialist advice and solutions to enhance organisational efficiency and sustainability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Develop and implement project management plans to support key programs
  • Use data and analysis to investigate system challenges and improve outcomes
