About the Opportunity
The purpose of the position is to undertake the day to day operational activities in the Sterilising Services Department (SSD), ensuring that the unit provides a reprocessing service in accordance with statutory requirements and standards.
In this role you will:
Contribute to the total health care needs and expectations of clients, clinicians, staff and the community.
Provide leadership and guidance to Grade 1 technicians and liaise with customers regarding reprocessing.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Pleasant, helpful, appropriate and effective liaison with customers, peers, colleagues & managers to maintain efficient workflow and work practices, and to achieve an efficient and harmonious workplace.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Qualification in Sterilisation Technology.
Experience in a multi-disciplinary Sterilisation Services setting.
Knowledge of governing standards and guidelines relevant to Sterilising Services Department.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload / manage time in order to meet customer requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to promote a functional, harmonious environment.
