About the Opportunity
The Senior Respiratory Scientist ensures the highest quality respiratory function testing is performed within the laboratory by maintaining strict adherence to the latest national and international testing standards.
This role plays a pivotal part in service excellence by overseeing routine and advanced diagnostic procedures, leading equipment maintenance programs, and managing comprehensive quality assurance activities.
In addition to supervising daily operations, the Senior Scientist mentors junior staff, contributes to service development, and actively participates in clinical audits and research initiatives, ensuring the respiratory laboratory remains at the forefront of clinical innovation and patient care.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
An appropriate Biological or Medical Science Degree from an approved university or college of advanced education requiring a minimum of three years full-time study or such qualification as the employer deems equivalent.
Extensive experience in a respiratory laboratory providing a comprehensive range of lung function tests.
Demonstrated effective communication, time management and priority setting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
