About the Role

In this vital role, you will coordinate nursing and healthcare services to ensure patients achieve positive health outcomes. Working within a collaborative care model, you will communicate clearly with patients, carers, and healthcare colleagues to deliver personalised, high-quality care that meets individual needs.

This position offers you the chance to deliver exceptional nursing care tailored to a diverse range of patient expectations. You'll delegate and supervise Assistants in Nursing (AINs), guiding their nursing interventions based on their qualifications and scope of practice always striving for quality outcomes and excellence in patient care.

This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in a specialised clinical setting and is motivated to make a meaningful impact by shaping the skills and confidence of fellow nurses.

About You

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Recent clinical experience in the position speciality and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
  • Demonstrated personal attributes including resilience, integrity and accountability.
