At Central Coast Local Health District our strategic vision is Trusted Care.  Better health for everyone.  We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing services within our Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging Departments across the District.

About the Role

Based between Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, this role operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with on-call support out of hours. You will be responsible for the safe and effective coordination of patient care, supervision of nursing and Patient Support Assistant (PSA) staff, and the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services.

As a core member of the Medical Imaging Management Team, you’ll support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional radiology services across the district. Key responsibilities include clinical leadership, policy development, risk management, and overseeing quality audits to meet accreditation standards. You will also contribute to strategic planning and enable service improvements through evidence-based practice and innovation.

About You

  • You are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration, senior nursing experience, and relevant health management qualifications or equivalent experience leading clinical teams.
  • You have proven ability to manage resources efficiently, lead change, and deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care.
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, conflict resolution ability, staff development focus, and sound financial and computer literacy.
