At Central Coast Local Health District, our vision is Trusted Care. Better Health for Everyone.   We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Casual After-Hours Patient Flow Manager (AHPFM) at Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).

About the Role

In this role, you will:

Work across a 7 day rotating roster (casual – covering leave periods), 2.00pm – 10.00pm shift.
Coordinate and manage patient flow across the district and with other Local Health Districts (LHDs).
Monitor Ambulance Transfer of Care (ToC) as the CCLHD delegate, acting as the Executive contact for escalations to NSW Ambulance and the Ministry of Health.
Collaborate closely with AHNMs, Patient Flow Units, and Patient Transport Services (PTS) to ensure safe, timely care for every patient.
Be a part of a supportive, dynamic, and highly skilled team that values leadership, clinical excellence, and proactive communication.

About You

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
Background in Patient Flow, Emergency Nursing, or Nurse Unit Management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Confidence managing critical issues and working collaboratively across services.
