CCLHD - After Hours / Weekend Ward Clerk and Reception
Position Classification: Admin Officer Level 3
Remuneration: $34.46 - $35.54 per hour
Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday (every second weekend)

Key Responsibilities:

Support clinical needs of the ward, including admissions and discharges within the Mental Health Unit at Gosford.

Prepare and manage legal documentation in accordance with the Mental Health Act, including documents for Mental Health Tribunal hearings, inpatient inquiries, and community treatment orders.

Deliver reception and general administrative duties such as patient list preparation, typing, photocopying, and maintaining up-to-date admission/discharge records.

Coordinate ward/unit administrative systems to ensure office efficiency, aligned with LHD policies and standards.

Provide responsive, effective customer service, managing enquiries and information flow.

Perform minute-taking for meetings and manage meeting documentation.

Assist senior officers and train other administrative staff as required.

Travel across the Central Coast Mental Health Service to assist with vacancies and leave relief as directed.

About You:
- Strong initiative and ability to apply effective work practices to achieve unit outcomes.
- Demonstrated computer/data entry skills, specifically with MS office products in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet based applications and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and work in a busy environment without supervision, within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience working in Mental Health environment
