About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible team member to join the CSSD team at Kurri Kurri District Hospital (KKDH(. In this role, you will provide high-quality reprocessing services while ensuring infection prevention and control measures are consistently maintained in accordance with Australian Standard AS5369:2023.
Working under the direction of the CSSD Management Team, you will be supported by the CSSD Team Leader and Clinical Nurse Educator, with reporting to the KKDH Site Nurse Manager. This is an opportunity to contribute to the safe and effective delivery of services within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Kurri Kurri District Hospital is located in the Lower Hunter Sector and proudly serves the communities of Kurri Kurri, Abermain, Weston and Heddon Greta.
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services, including medical and specialist surgical services, rehabilitation, emergency care and allied health services.

Requirements:
Sterilisation Technology Certificate III in health service assistance (sterilisation services) or equivalent qualification and relevant experience in sterilisation services department within a healthcare facility.
Additional Information:
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
