 About the Role

As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care while supporting patients and their families through every stage of their healthcare journey. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes while responding effectively to changing clinical needs in a fast-paced environment.

This role will see you:

  • Deliver quality, efficient and effective person-centred care.

  • Advocate for patients and families to support informed healthcare decisions.

  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and changing patient conditions.

  • Apply evidence-based practice, clinical judgement and critical thinking in daily practice.

  • Support patient discharge planning and appropriate referrals.

  • Mentor and supervise students, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing where required.

  • Work within professional boundaries, ethical standards and culturally respectful practice.

Essential Criteria

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
