What you'll be doing
The Career Medical Officer (CMO) will provide medical and psychiatric services to mental health patients in collaboration with other members of team (Consultant Psychiatrists, trainee registrars, other junior doctors, nursing staff and allied health).
- Full registration with Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum of three years experience in the discipline of psychiatry.
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and negotiation skills.
- Willingness and capacity to work in complex multidisciplinary inpatient and/or community services.
- Experience or willingness to be involved in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice.
- Ability to meet on call commitments.
- Possess a NSW driver's license.
- Australian citizenship or Permanent residency.
