What you'll be doing
Join our team at Westmead Hospital as an Echocardiographer in the Department of Cardiology. You'll provide high-quality diagnostic and clinical services while collaborating with a dedicated medical team.
- Performing echocardiography following industry standards.
- Prioritising competing workloads.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and professionalism.
- Modifying techniques for optimal examination outcomes.
- Contributing to departmental and patient care beyond routine duties.
How to Apply
Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac)
- Registration: Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registery
Selection Criteria:
- Accredited by the Australian Sonographer accreditation registry.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Medical Sonography (Cardiac).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment towards a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Computer literacy.
- Demonstrate high standard of practice within the profession, through the active involvement in areas such as conferences, lectures, seminars, continuing education or professional development.
