About us
- Strategic Business Intelligence Development
The Bait team leads the design and implementation of contemporary business intelligence capabilities across the Finance Division, enabling consistent, accurate reporting and interactive applications that support strategic service management, operational performance.
- Advanced Statistical Analytics & Funding Insights
We provide expert statistical analysis and insights into funding models, efficiencies, and National Weighted Activity Unit (NWAU) implementation, supporting evidence-based decision-making and value-based care across NSW Health.
- Integrated Data Strategy & Technical Enablement
We oversee the development and execution of the division’s data strategy, ensuring alignment between business needs and analytics delivery. This includes cloud infrastructure management, application support, and fostering a data-driven culture through technical leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Health Manager Level 2, starting salary from $109,857 - $129,624, plus Super, with a 38 hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse health finance and operational data to uncover trends and insights.
- Translate business needs into clear data and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications and support project delivery.
- Maintain project schedules and track analytics deliverables.
- Collaborate with data strategists and analysts to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Proven experience in business analysis, preferably within health, finance, or government sectors.
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Solid understanding of project management principles and structured delivery environments.
