About the Role

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
 
The Billings Systems Officer is required to an alyse revenue data and billing system to assist management in identifying opportunities to maximise revenue generation and ensure that revenue billing and associated systems are functioning at best practice levels in relation to all aspects of MoH and Local Health District policies and procedures.
   
This role involves producing reports on revenue performance in a clear, logical and concise manner, and to extract data to develop new revenue and statistical reports as required by management.

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Health Administration and/or extensive experience in accounting within a large organization, experience within the public sector would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practical skills in Oracle accounting systems, PBRC billing systems and MS Office software (particularly Excel and Word), including the ability to provide data and reports.
