Bear Cottage is a children's hospice located in Manly. Bear Cottage is part of the Department of SCHN Palliative Care and provides respite, symptom management and end of life care to patients and support for their family who are admitted.
What you'll be doing
Bear Cottage is located at Manly and provides palliative and respite care to children with progressive, life limiting illnesses and their families.
The Chef will be responsible for the preparation of healthy meals to children, families, staff and volunteers at Bear Cottage whilst maintaining a home like environment.

- Recent experience in the food service industry and or commercial kitchens.
- Food handling certificate or equivalent recognised course on safe food handling.
- Sound knowledge of WH&S, Infection Control and Manual Handling principles.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with effective interpersonal skills
- Effective written, communication and time management skills.
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
