About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care across a variety of clinical settings and facilities. This role offers flexible work opportunities and exposure to diverse specialty areas, allowing you to further develop your clinical skills and experience within a supportive healthcare environment.
Please note: NSLHD casual pool staff are expected to work a minimum of one shift a week to maintain their position in the pool.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
- Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
