Where You’ll Be Working

Join the dedicated and welcoming team at Werris Creek Multipurpose Service (MPS), a small rural facility delivering essential healthcare services to the local community. Werris Creek MPS provides a range of care including aged care, sub-acute inpatient services, emergency support, and community health programs.

 

About the Role

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality care across a variety of settings. Working under the guidance of Registered Nurses, you’ll help ensure patients and residents feel comfortable, respected and well cared for.

Your day may include:

Supporting patients and residents with personal care, mobility and daily living activities
Assisting nursing staff with clinical procedures and routine tasks
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised care environment
Documenting care activities and contributing to team handovers
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes

Essential Requirements

Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assistant in Nursing), or

Current enrolment in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and part of second year), or

Current enrolment in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completion of foundational units and at least 120 hours of clinical placement)
