About the role
In this role, you will join the team at Rylstone Multi Purpose Service where you will be closely supported by the Nurse Manager & Health Service Manager to expand your clinical skillset and be encouraged to learn.
The Assistant in Nursing in Aged Care is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful applicant will work closely with their preceptor – an experienced AIN, their Nurse Manager and supported by a clinical nurse educator to support and provide safe, high quality, person-centred care to patients and clients.
The team prides itself on the care they provide to the patients and residents.
You’ll have strong communication, empathy, and customer service skills while you assist patients with their daily routines, such as showering, toileting, dressing, eating, communication, mobility, medication, and exercise. You’ll keenly observe those in your care, work well within a team and work within the CORE values of NSW Health.
