About the role
Step into this rewarding role of Leisure and Lifestyle Allied Health Assistant based in Holbrook just 55 minutes away from Wagga Wagga. You’ll play a role in implementing meaningful activities for our residents that relate to their lifespan, interests and preferences while working alongside a fabulous team of health professionals.
Your responsibilities involve:
Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programs
Correspondence and document management - including the organisation of various deadlines and communications within a multidisciplinary team.
Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals such as exercise classes and community outings
Facilitate and participate in diversional therapy activities
Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team
Create individual lifestyle care plans and programs for residents
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time
Position Classification: Allied Health Assistant - level 1-3
Remuneration: $60,747.33 - $68,682.13 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Our ideal candidate will:
Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle / Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment) or other relevant qualification
Demonstrate expert level written and verbal communication skills
Have the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Show outstanding problem-solving skills with demonstrate ability to take initiative
